Copyright
Last updated October 5, 2026. Every game on Knockout is meant to be an original design, with its own name, art, and text. If you believe something here copies your work or uses your trademark, tell us and we will look at it quickly. This page is how to do that under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Designated agent
Our designated agent is being registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, and their name and address will appear here. Until then, send notices to support@knockoutonlinegames.com with “Copyright notice” in the subject.
Sending a takedown notice
Your notice needs to include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of someone authorized to act for the owner.
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a list, if there are several).
- Where the material is on the site: the page link, and which card, item, image, sound, or text it is.
- Your name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
When we get a complete notice, we remove or disable the material promptly and let the player who posted it know, if a player posted it. Most of what is on the site is ours, so usually we simply rename or redraw the thing in question. For a trademark concern, the same details (the mark, where it appears, and how to reach you) are enough.
Counter-notices
If something you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- What was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We pass the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
Players who repeatedly post material that infringes someone else’s rights can have their player and anything they posted removed.
Please be accurate
Knowingly saying that something infringes when it does not, or that it was removed by mistake when it was not, can make you liable for damages. Game rules and mechanics are not protected by copyright, so a game that plays like another one is not on its own an infringement. For anything else, see the terms or the contact page.
